The LVN fulfills the assigned role as a part of the treatment team, maintaining the well-being of clients with thorough assessment and reassessment.
The nurse advocates for the client and their wellbeing working closely with the medical team.
Well established program with high levels of client success! Responsibilities Ability to confront behavioral changes, identifies a crisis, and recognize when additional assistance is necessary.
Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems and various recovery resources in the community such as Smart Recovery/ 12 step program Conducts 30-minute rounds to ensure safety on clients in Detox level of care Observing infection control protocol Daily patient assessment and accurate charting.
Interpret and document vital signs Monitor self-administration of medication Medication education Coordinate all offsite appointments For potential new admits obtain appropriate orders from medical team Completes admission assessments and forms Complete discharge paperwork Administer and interpret PPDs Performs and interprets urine drug screening Following MD visits nurse to check for new orders and ensure they are sent to the pharmacy Maintain accurate logs of medications ordered and received Medication inventory and re-ordering as necessary- client medications and house inventory Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality, HIPPA.
ExperiencE LVN in the State of CA Experience as a LVN especially with substance abuse clients 6czSJ0H1Ng Quick Apply.
