Are a solid prep or line cook and want to step up and add sous chef to your r sum .
Enjoy the creative challenge of preparing high-quality meals that accommodate varied diets, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.
This is a part-time weekend role supporting two of our treatment centers.
On Saturday, you'll work at our Agoura Hills center from 9 AM to 5:
30 PM.
You'll work the same hours on Sunday at our Malibu facility.
Your Qualifications To be a good fit for the Sous Chef opportunity, you will have:
3 years' experience cooking in a family style, catering, group home or treatment center environmentExperience cooking for 10-15
people per mealCurrent ServSafe permitProof of TB vaccinationExperience in menu development is strongly preferredGood physical and mental healthThe ability to move continuously during work hours and lift and/or carry 20 to 35 poundsReliable transportation with a willingness to travel to two different sitesThe Job You will be the weekend Sous Chef, responsible for doing prep work and preparing lunch and dinner for clients and staff.
Each weekend day, you'll run the kitchen by yourself, including picking your own menu.
Each meal should be a complete course, including a protein, vegetable, salad, carbohydrate and dessert.
Both facilities have home-style kitchens.

Hillcrest's rustic but elegant homestead is set in the lush foothills of Agoura Hills.
This rural estate is both private and peaceful, making it an ideal enclave for rehabilitation and healing.
