Hankey Investment Company is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and energetic Estate Manager to manage properties and housekeeping staff.
The Estate Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day, financial, administrative and maintenance operations of the estate properties.
The Estate Manager will report to the group Chairman.
Salary Pay Range:
$90,000-$110,000 per year.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Property management, personal assistant, driver, occasional dog/house sitter and occasional cooking.
Manage housekeeping staff that maintains the interior of the properties and grounds keepers that maintain the estates.
Initiate and respond to all calls from Principles, vendors, and contractors.
Supervise all exterior vendors/contractors to the properties and oversee all vendor work.
Oversee food stocking, purchase, and inventory of household supplies for each property.
Budgeting and payables related to estate expenditures, schedule equipment maintenance, security access, renovation, furniture, and fixture purchases.
Maintain copies of related expenditure and reconcile expenses at the end of each month/year.
Event planner for owner and C-level guests that occur at any of the properties.
This includes set up/take down, decorations, menus, reception, and entertainment.
Work to create, communicate, enforce, and uphold company/estate policies and procedures.
Assist with new hire onboarding, training, supervise and pay all temporary labor.
Assist with payroll tasks- review/approve timesheets for both hourly and salary employees.
Assist hourly employees with timecard adjustments.
Report worksite injuries to HR and provide workers compensation information to staff at the time of injury.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Minimum of 3-5 years of estate property management experience Excellent organizational skills with hands on approach with managing day-to-day operations.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
Knowledge of Word and Excel.
