Under the direction of the Maintenance Chief, Park Maintenance Worker I, Skilled Laborer and/or Park Maintenance Assistant, this position will:
perform various housekeeping, groundskeeping and minor maintenance repair tasks within the park answer questions of the public explain park rules and regulations operate light vehicles account for supplies used complete miscellaneous reports perform general unskilled maintenance within the Malibu Sector.
Typical working conditions may include:
activities that involve frequent periods of bending, stooping and lifting extensive exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, rain, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
remote working locations Special Requirements May require heavy physical work including lifting, pushing or pulling, digging.
Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.
This position is Seasonal and may either work up to 189 days or 1500 hours in a 12-month period.

Five days/week This position is subject to DOJ live scan fingerprint clearance.
Successful candidates will be required to purchase and wear a State Park uniform to comply with department standards.
