Behavioral Health Case Manager
Confidential Confidential Malibu, CA Malibu, CA Full-time Full-time $24 - $25 an hour $24 - $25 an hour LifeSync Malibu is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic case manager to join our team.
The case manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management and chemical dependency counseling to clients in a detox/residential program.
The case manager is an integral part of the treatment team and works in concert with other clinicians on the treatment team to provide excellent service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop a comprehensive aftercare plan for each client.
Assist clients in developing educational and vocational goals.
Assist clients with any legal/court issues Conduct and document weekly client assessments.
Facilitate group counseling sessions as assigned by the program director.
Manage a caseload of up to six clients and facilitate individual case manage sessions twice per week.
Document all group and individual sessions following DHCS and JCAHO standards.
Assist the treatment team with any other assigned tasks Job Requirements Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Current counseling certification through CCAPP or CADTP.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a counselor in and AOD program.
Skill Requirements Strong documentation skills Experience in KIPU is a plus Job Type:
