Description
Perform regular security scans, evaluate scan results, implement changes or develop mediation plans, update POA&M materials.
Apply security patches and STIGS, evaluate patch installation and system performance post installation, for any issues discovered as a result of the patch installation assist in the development of workarounds or mediation plans.
Assist in the development of C&A packages for new product versions to include performance of scans, development of mediation plans, creation of POA&M and other relevant documentation required to support accreditation.
Performance of these tasks will require an understanding of the workings of the systems to be scanned and patched.
Provide tier one (1) Information Systems Support and system network assistance.
Assist in modernizing DB architecture and transitioning the data to secure services that can be pulled by remote data consumers; data warehouse solutions.
Manage hardware administrative support services in response to government IT tasking.
Replace/restore faulty hardware.
Resource integration solutions for labor test bench interface and data collection capture.
Required Qualifications
BS in Computer Science;
Security+ Certified
Secret level security clearance
Desired Qualifications
Oracle Data Products experience/certified Previous Military System Admin experience
S/W Scripting experience for automated installation process development



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
