Smartonix is seeking an Business Systems Analyst to support the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Product Team (IPT) with their effort to produce a follow-on sole source contract. This position will work directly with IPT leadership and the Acquisition Lead for the effort and reside with IPT aboard the Naval Base at Point Mugu, CA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in development, terms and conditions, cost/price, deliverables and schedule requirements.
Support drafting solicitation.
Facilitate and provide contractual guidance to project management.
Work with project management and Acquisition Specialist to assure compliance with requirements during program execution and communication of obligations.
Coordinate with finance and business teams for resolution issues and disputes.
Support the administration of project and foster strategic relationships with government personnel.
Assist in identification, development and implementation of new policies and processes.
Participate in development and administration of business alliances and teaming agreements.
Provide administrative support as necessary, including drafting correspondence, online research, and file organization to the Government business team
Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in business, marketing, or related field. (Substitute Experience)
Minimum 3-7 years direct experience with NAVAIR contracting.
Working knowledge of government statement of work, contracting concepts, including Federal Acquisition Regulations, particularly FAR part 8.4, Federal Supply Schedules.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Configuration Management and Financial Analysis.
Ability to work independently, multitask and coordinate activities across a range of functional areas.
Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced work environment with strict deadlines.
Excellent writing skills and ability to draft documentation.
Strong analytical and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation and team-building skills.
Familiarity with commercial item/service contracts, federal supply schedules, multiple award schedules, firm fixed price contracts, IDIQ contracts, and common issues that may arise with these contract vehicles.
Must interface effectively with internal management, and customer representatives.
Commitment to continued professional development.
US Citizenship Required. Must have active secret clearance.
Ability to identify problems or inefficiencies and independently offer/implement practical solutions.
Proficient in all MS Office Applications, intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge a plus.
Ability to work with confidential information, exercise judgment and discretion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
