GDIT is actively Information Assurance Engineers with expertise in the area of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Systems Engineering Department, and Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories Division (EWIL) Division requires engineering services in support of Cyber Warfare (CW), Information Operations (IO), Information Warfare (IW), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. Primary performance will take place in various NAWCWD CW, IO, IW, and EW laboratories, ranges, facilities and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
Essential Job Functions:
Analyze and resolve INFOSEC technical problems.
Configure testbeds and conduct testing, record and analyze results, and provide recommendations for improvements for the products/systems under test.
Areas of focus include Guard, Firewall, Secure Network Server, PCMCIA format security solutions, "Smart Cards", and emerging technologies and future trends.
Support the integration of INFOSEC solutions and technologies into networks with particular attention to protocols, interfaces, and system design.
General experience includes system engineering; electrical design, software engineering; program design and implementation; configuration management; or maintenance.
Required Education and Experience:
US Citizen
All candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance as a condition of employment. GDIT will assist with this clearance process or clearance transfer for the successful candidates. Top Secret clearance is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering; Computer Science or related field.
Experience in heterogeneous computer networking technology and work in protocol and/or interface standards specification is preferred.
Specialized experience including (1) system security analysis and implementation; (2) design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems; and (3) integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems.
Experience in Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA) in regards to hardening and remediation of the systems.
Experience would include DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs); patching; scanning; validation of inventory; creation of network diagrams.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Security+ Certification
Document Certification & Accreditation (C&A) information in moving from DOD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) to the new National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
