This 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 was delivered new to Don Seelye Ford of Kalamazoo, Michigan with a 289ci V8 and an automatic transmission.
Refurbishment prior to our acquisition of the car in May 2014 included the installation of a Ford Racing 363ci stroker V8 and a five-speed manual transmission, along with a repaint in red over a refreshed black vinyl interior.
Equipment consists of front disc brakes, a 9 rear end with a limited-slip differential, Koni shocks, rear brake-cooling ducts, hood pins, racing-style lap belts, and a Sport Deck rear seat.
The water pump, timing cover, fuel pump, distributor, carburetor, and clutch were replaced in 2020, and an original-style battery was installed in preparation for the sale.
This GT350 is now offered with documents from Shelby American and the Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC), Shelby literature, and a Shelby license-plate frame, along with manuals, service records, a spare carburetor, and a clean California title.
